So, I’m not really sure what to share this week (and since I didn’t finish this post yesterday, I’m a little late today). It’s not as if I don’t have a lot of insecurities. In fact, I seem to have found a ton. I’ll try to focus on the whole writing related stuff here.

I need to finish edits on Urban Werewolf 2 in 10 days (9 days by the time this post goes live) in order for my Amazon pre-order* thing to work. And, I’m no where near done.

If I don’t finish, then my pre-order experiment will have failed, but I’ve got a lot of other things going on with school and well… I’ve been very distractible lately.

I feel like I’ve got too much swirling in my head and too many decision to make to focus on only one things. Which means, I find myself focusing on nothing at all. I just jump from idea to idea without working on any one thing for long enough to make progress.

Still, I feel like I’m slowly figuring things out. At least on the self-care front.

Oh, I hate when I have so many things to do that my mind says, “Welp, I’ll just do nothing! That new TV show seems mighty interesting about now…”

How’s your experience been with writing and releasing on Amazon? Looks to me like you’ve got quite a bit of work under your belt!

    Good luck with the revision!

  2. I’m sorry! I don’t know how the pre-order thing works. Is there a way to fudge it?

I just learned that they’ll give me a grace period of an extra week to upload my edits. 😀 I lose the ability to set up new pre-orders for one full year though.

  3. Good luck with your deadline! You can do it!

Thanks! I missed the deadline mostly because I focused on school instead, but I guess they give you a grace period of an extra week to upload your revisions, but you lose pre-order for 1 year. To be fair, preorder was kind of an experiment that it seems I wasn’t quite ready for as I didn’t really get any, so I can wait a year for more pre-orders.
